Solo Show - Sample at The Gallery at City Library#

Sample is a new solo exhibition featuring 12 new large water colour works, and 30 smaller studies. Exploring symbolism and symmetry, the large pieces are a visual sampling of the smaller works, inspired by even smaller fragments of fairy tale illustrations.

Join us for the opening on Thursday 7th May. Exhibition will be officially opened by Dr. Carole Wilson.

New work at Alumination Exibition in Ballarat#

'The Leap' featured in the current Art Gallery of Ballarat exhibition, Alumination. The exhibition features graduates from the University of Ballarat Visual Arts course, spanning 30 years. The exhibition was officially opened on Friday 24th April by Geoff Wallis, who praised the diversity of the show, and the commitment to artistic practice displayed.

Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery Art Prize#

Birds and Axons is a new work made for the 2nd annual Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery Art Prize.

The ACMD Research Week Organising Committee invited contemporary and emerging artists to respond to the theme Art in Science, Science in Art by exploring the relationship between these two disciplines and highlighting the creative intersection that exists there.

The 2014 ACMD Art Exhibition will be held at St Vincent’s Gallery from 1st –27th August 2014 with the opening night held on Monday 18th August at 6pm.

Flanagan Art Exhibition#

Lady Bug Lady Bird has been selected for the 2014 Flanagan Art Prize. The Flanagan Art Exhibition will feature 86 works from artists around Australia and will be open from Friday August 22 to Sunday August 31 in the OCA Pavilion at St Patrick's College. The exhibition will be open to the public from 11am-4pm on August 24, 25, 30 and 31.

Two new pieces of work will be exhibited at the Beth Hulme Gallery in April, as part of a group show called Source. The exhibition brings together the work of Art & Design teachers, displaying their own art practice beyond the classroom.
